Adobe hat ein optionales Update mit der Versions-Nummer 2023.008.20470 für den Acrobat und Acrobat Reader für Windows und macOS veröffentlicht. Dieses Update für Januar 2024 umfasst verschiedene neue Funktionen sowie Verbesserungen, die hier beschrieben sind. Mit der neuen Version kannst du jetzt PDFs aus Acrobat in Adobe Express exportieren. Öffne dazu die PDF-Datei in Acrobat, wähle Konvertieren › Adobe Express und dann Zu Adobe Express exportieren. Acrobat Reader fordert sich jetzt auf, auf Acrobat Pro zu aktualisieren, wenn du kostenpflichtige Werkzeuge wie Bearbeiten, Konvertieren usw. verwenden möchtest. Du kannst jetzt die Acrobat Mobile App auch direkt von der Acrobat Desktop App herunterladen. Wähle im Dialogfeld Was ist neu? die Option Weitere Informationen, um zur Download-Seite zu gelangen. Du kannst auch den QR-Code scannen, um die App herunterzuladen. Das Update für den Acrobat und Acrobat Reader für Windows und macOS kann sowohl über die Updatefunktion über Hilfe → Nach Updates suchen → Herunterladen und installieren als auch über die offizielle Webseite geladen und auf PCs mit Windows 10 und neuer sowie auf Macs mit macOS 10.15 und neuer installiert werden, andernfalls wirst du Benachrichtigt, sobald es für dein Gerät verfügbar ist. Die Version 2023.008.20470 enthält die folgenden Neuerungen und Verbesserungen:

  • Export PDF to Adobe Express: You can now export PDFs from Acrobat to Adobe Express. Open the PDF in Acrobat, select Convert > Adobe Express, then select Export to Adobe Express. Your PDF will open in Adobe Express in the browser. Use the available design tools to stylize your PDF.
  • Upgrade your Acrobat Reader to Acrobat Pro: Acrobat Reader now prompts you to upgrade to Acrobat Pro if you try using paid tools like Edit, Convert, and more.
  • Download Acrobat mobile directly from your desktop app: Acrobat desktop app allows you to download Acrobat mobile directly from the desktop app. Select Learn more in the What’s new dialog box to go to Acrobat Reader for mobile download page, or you can also scan the QR code to get the mobile app.
  • Personalize your Acrobat toolset for optimal efficiency: You can now easily customize the toolset in Acrobat’s All tools pane to align with your specific usage requirements. When you open a file in Acrobat, select Get started in the left pane prompt to begin personalization. This feature is being rolled in phases and isn’t available to all users. Acrobat then presents a window where you can indicate your primary usage – be it Modifying PDFs, Creating PDFs, or Filling PDF Forms. Depending on your choice, the most relevant tools will appear at the top of the ‚All tools‘ pane, streamlining your workflow. If you are new to Acrobat, you can now use the in-app help to understand the value and usage of each tool.
  • This release is a hotfix patch that addresses some important bug fixes.
