Microsoft hat in der Nacht zum Donnerstag das Microsoft Security Bulletin MS15-029 aktualisiert und die Verfügbarkeit eines Sicherheitsupdates für Word, Excel, PowerPoint und OneNote 2016 für Mac bekannt gegeben. Das Update behebt Sicherheitslücken, die Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen können, wenn ein Benutzer eine speziell gestaltete Office-Datei öffnet. Neben der behobenen Sicherheitslücken, bringt das Update auf die Version 15.20 auch Verbesserungen, die sich weiter unten einsehen lassen. Das Update auf die Versions-Nummer 15.20.0 setzt ein Mac mit OS X Yosemite 10.10 und höher voraus und kann ab sofort sowohl über die integrierte Software-Update als auch über die weiter unten genannte Webseite geladen werden.

This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office that could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted Office file. To learn more about these vulnerabilities, see Microsoft Security Bulletin MS16-015. Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac includes versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook that are designed for the Mac and yet are unmistakably Office. The February 16, 2016, update provides fixes for issues in the Office 2016 for Mac Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook). To install this update, you must be running OS X Yosemite 10.10 or a later version, and you must have a valid Microsoft Office 365 subscription.
