Microsoft hat im Laufe der Woche ein Update für Office 2016 zum Download freigegeben. Mit diesem Update erhalten Office 365 nur Abonnenten zusätzliche Auswahlmöglichkeiten für den Fokusmodus, einschließlich Eiche, Mahagoni und Graphit. Darüber hinaus umfasst das Update auch Fehlerbehebungen und Stabilitätsverbesserungen, um die Anwendungen zuverlässiger zu machen. Neben den oben genannten Verbesserungen, bringt das Update auch eine neue Version von AutoUpdate. Microsoft fordert die Nutzer auf, ein Upgrade durchzuführen, was erforderlich ist, bevor andere Updates installiert werden können. Das Update auf die Versions-Nummer 15.30 setzt ein Mac mit OS X Yosemite 10.10 und höher voraus und kann sowohl über die Software-Aktualisierung als auch bei Microsoft geladen werden. This release provides the following feature, non-security, and security updates.
Word
- Feature updates: Additional focus mode choices, including Oak, Mahogany, and Graphite. For Office 365 subscribers only.
- Non-security updates: Fix various performance issues, such as typing or scrolling lags and slow performance when editing a large document.
Excel
- Improved reliability and minor bug fixes.
PowerPoint
- Improved reliability and minor bug fixes.
Office suite
- Improved reliability and minor bug fixes.
Microsoft AutoUpdate
- Additional logging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Version number updated to 3.8.3.
