Dass Adobe ein außerplanmäßiges Sicherheitsupdate für den Adobe Flash Player veröffentlicht hat, wurde an mehreren Stellen berichtet. Nun hat auch Microsoft die Sicherheitsempfehlung 2755801 aktualisiert und die sofortige Verfügbarkeit eines außerplanmäßiges Sicherheitsupdates für den Internet Explorer 10 unter Windows 8, Windows RT und Windows Server 2012 sowie für den Internet Explorer 11 unter Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1 und Windows Server 2012 R2 angekündigt. Außerdem ist das Update auch für Adobe Flash Player in Microsoft Edge auf allen unterstützten Editionen von Windows 10 verfügbar. Das Update behebt Sicherheitslücken in Adobe Flash Player, die im Security Bulletin APSB16-01 beschrieben werden, indem die in Internet Explorer und Edge betroffenen Flash-Bibliotheken aktualisiert werden. Das Sicherheitsupdate KB3132372 wurde am 29.12.2015 veröffentlicht und kann jetzt über Windows Update geladen werden. Das Update für Windows RT und RT 8.1 ist nur über Microsoft Update verfügbar.
