Über die Verfügbarkeit von Update 14.7.0 für Office für Mac 2011 hatte ich bereits geschrieben. Nun stellt Microsoft das im Rahmen des November 2016 Patchday angekündigte Sicherheitsupdate MS16-133 für Office 2016 für Mac ab sofort zum Download bereit. Dieses Sicherheitsupdate behebt Sicherheitslücken in Office 2016 für Mac. Die schwerwiegendste Sicherheitslücke kann Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen, wenn ein Benutzer eine speziell entworfene Office-Datei öffnet. Neben der behobenen Sicherheitslücken, bringt das Update auch Verbesserungen für Microsoft AutoUpdate. Darüber hinaus umfasst das heutige Update auch Verbesserungen für Outlook 2016, diese lassen sich weiter unten einsehen. Das Update auf die Versions-Nummer 15.28 setzt ein Mac mit OS X Yosemite 10.10 und höher voraus und kann ab sofort sowohl über die Software-Aktualisierung als auch im Microsoft Download Center geladen werden.
