Für die kostenpflichtige ViewExif App für iOS steht im iTunes App Store ab sofort ein größeres Update zum Download bereit. Mit der neuen Version lassen sich die EXIF-Metadaten von Fotos direkt in der ViewExif App anzeigen und EXIF-Kurzinformationen in der Fotoansicht anzeigen. Außerdem ist es jetzt mit der ViewExif App möglich, die Sternenbewertungen, Schlüsselwörter und Beschreibungen auf dem Foto hinzuzufügen und zu bearbeiten. Dazu kommen auch die in jedem Update enthaltenen Fehlerbehebungen und Verbesserungen, um die App zuverlässiger zu machen. Das Update mit der Versions-Nummer 2.0 setzt ein iPhone, iPad und iPod touch mit iOS 9.0 oder höher voraus und kann ab sofort im iTunes App Store geladen werden.
